Berger Hunting Bullets in a Yellow Box?

I got the bullets in the bottom yellow box today. All of the other Berger hunting bullets I've had have been in an orange box like the one on top. Did I get the wrong bullets?BergerBullets.jpg

The early yellow box never said VLD Hunting, just VLD,
then directly below 6MM 105 Grain,
third line Match Grade,
4th line was the lot.

Looking at a box now that's lot # 0000732

I think the box pictured is the transition before orange box bullets?

I have now seen varmint bullets in the yellow boxes also. I picked up a box of 52 224’s at Cabelas thing they were target bullets only to notice varmint. I don’t think we can make assumptions any more. Maybe they have a large stock of yellow boxes on hand

It costs money to buy and manage different colored boxes. If the label identifies the contents having different colored boxes makes little sense.

They told me they went to a letter prefix last year? I ordered 1500 7mm Hybrids last year and 2 boxes came with numbers only.
The vendor, Precision Reloading, straightened out their oversight. Sent me 3 new boxes with a call tag for the others.

I've got some 95gr Target VLDs, one box says BC is .467, I've had that box almost a year, another four boxes showed up in the mail yesterday from Brownells and says the BC is .480. I've asked Berger what is correct.

Could the P stand for Phoenix?

Maybe they are using up all the old yellow boxes to make way for new packaging with their new logo?
