I'm stumped.
Berger produces 6mm 105's VLD's with identical catalogue numbers one comes in an orange box and the other is in yellow. The orange box has a little thing in it that says they are using the orange box to remind shooters that they are good for hunting too.
These bullets with ostensibly the same product numbers are completely different. Yes, I have confirmed that they are both VLD's, but I have done a comparator measurment of the orange box stock and have come out with a base to ogive measurement of .523" and the yellows are .503!
The bullet OAL from the orange boxes are 1.239" wheras the yellows are 1.223"
Needless to say, this has required a complete re-do on my load development!
WTF???
