What is going on with Berger bullets? Most vendors are saying "out of stock, no back order" for around 90% of their inventory. Competition season is rapidly approaching. Anyone have an answer?

don't know which particular bullet you are looking for, but most of the long range(hybrid) bergers are instock at Bullets.com today.

Phil -Looking mostly for 6mm 105 target and .224 77 gr. OTM's. I note several vendors have hybrids in stock - they are not of interest to me. I have checked at least 6 dealers from your Locator, with similar results.

Phil -Looking mostly for 6mm 105 target and .224 77 gr. OTM's. I note several vendors have hybrids in stock - they are not of interest to me. I have checked at least 6 dealers from your Locator, with similar results.

The .224 77 grain OTM has a tentative production date of MAY 2016. The 6mm 105 VLD Target is the end of MARCH 2016.
Our apologies for this inconvenience. We have effectively doubled our manufacturing capacity and almost have our new operators up to speed. This along with new production schedules should ( barring any panics) resolve bullet availability issues or at least shorten back order times.

Picked up 2 boxes of 190 VLD local gun shop Friday. Had a bunch of Berger bullets...

I hope your quality gets back on par with the new employees. I just opened a new box of 500 105 VLD Lot #6511 and sorted them. Needless to say they were really bad. I found .008 difference from short to long using a Bob Green comparator. Out of the 500 I'll be lucky to have 200-250 of one length with rest in lots of 45-100. Had a few culls 12-15 possibly.

For those who need BergerBullets try McGee Stocks. Steve and Shirley are Long Range shooters who made competitive stocks until some health issues a couple of years ago. Now they sell Berger bullets at very competitive prices. I buy from them every year and have no vested interest in the company other than getting great deals on Bergers.
