Berger 90gr BT for 300 yard score matches using 6BR

Now that our summer league is over I plan to test out some new loads. I just bought a couple boxes of Berger 90gr BT and I am wondering what loads you guys have tried with these bullets. I am using a 8 twist, 26" barrel and would like to use Varget or VV-N150. GRT shows a load at 31 grains of N150, which is a full grain hotter than what I was shooting with the Berger 105gr BT, does that sound right?

Was planning to do a Boyer style load development, do you think 1/2 grain increments is too coarse?

I’d do .3 increments. I’ve ran over 30 with n150 and 105’s before testing. Think I went up to 30.6 with out issues as far as pressure. I’d start low and work up though as usual. No sense in being hard on brass unless you need speed.

31.0 of Varget and a 90 Berger has been real stout in a few bbls for me in a 6 BR. @Shooter13
