Getting ready to load for 6BR

Have a 10 twist 6BR en route from the smith and getting ready to load for it. Going to use 90 grain Berger BT, 90 grain Lapua Scenar, and 95 BIBs. I'm going to start with the Bergers and Lapuas and will be using CCI 450's and Varget. Have any of you used the Berger Varget data as a starting point for the Scenars, and what increments do you usually go with this smaller case? I'm used to bigger cases like .308 and working up in 1/2 grain increments. Thinking of going in .3 increments for this. Thanks.

In my 10 twist 6BR, when I used Varget, I used right around 31 grains with the Berger 90 BT and the BIB 95. That ain't a beginning load, my man. Start 10% low and work up.

I didn't have any primer issues despite using 205Ms. Your mileage might vary.

I have used the Berger 87 VLD Hunting, the Berger 90 BT, the 95 grain BIB, and the 95 grain Nosler. I've used H4895, Varget and 8208 XBR. I've been happy with all of them.

I've got .080 or so of freebore. Just wish that I had a bit more. Like .104, to seat the BIB 95 out further.

My favorite right now is the Berger 90 BT with the XBR. Nice, forgiving combo. Fast, too. The 87 Hunting VLD has been good to me, too. Nice terminal performance on coyotes.
