I always start at full jam and work my way out of the lands. IME, they shoot best with a light jam but every barrel and load is different.
Starting at full jam for a given neck tension only leaves one way to go. That keeps things like I need them...simple.
I shot coyotes with them in a custom 6 Remington, 0.003 jam, stout load of IMR 4064 at 3500. They knocked a quarter to silver dollar size hole in coyotes on broadside shots through the ribs.
IME, in a case that size and bore, it's virtually identical to Varget. It doesn't meter as well but it usually outperforms Varget in terms of accuracy, for me.I would have thought IMR-4064 would have been too fast burning for a 6mm Remington. Learn something new every day!
Carry on.
