I agree it can be frustrating but they are not alone in this problem. In fact, my buddy just received a package a couple of days ago from JLK where he had ordered 140s from them back in MAY of 2010-now that's a back order. If everyone is buying all that they make, they can do nothing buy fill orders. I went to Graf's website and they are out of at least 50% of the bullets I shoot!
I was in Bruno's last Monday and he had hundreds of boxes of bergers in stock including the 6.5s. I bought one sleeve. The only bullet I couldn't get that I originally wanted was 150 grain .277. He had only 140s. They turned out to shoot fantastic!
I actually prefer the 130 Normas over the Bergers and buy them in boxes of 500. For me, the 130s seem to be a wash with the 140s. The 140s only having a small advantage and that is only at the 1000 yds line. No advantage at 800 and under for me.
Try to buy some 180 SMKs right now! Nobody has them. supply and demand--- It's impossible to please everyone.
