300 Remington Ultra Mag

About to re-barrel my sender and wondering if anyone could shed some experience on the Norma 300 RUM brass, at $2.00 per round would like to think they should stand up to several reloads and weight sort out pretty good. Any one use them?
Thanks

I have had good luck with them, usually 4-5 firings before they loosen up if your really pushing them.

Let us know how you do. RUM brass is pricing itself out of the market. You can almost buy loaded ammo and pull the bullets, leaving case and primer. Don't know what powder is used but you have that too.

Thanks Dragman have been shooting Remington brass in the one I have now but would like to use better brass with a custom barrel, cant say how hard I will push them until I start loading for it, the one I shoot now likes 93 grains of H1000 under a 185 Berger and 215 primers and have lasted a while.

I was using RL33 in one and running 103.3 grains with coated 208's (ABSOLUTE MAX) they where running 3335fps. I still got 3-4 loadings on that brass before pockets got loose.

I got 100 Remington brass and in my gun I have now loaded 6 times and everything is still tight. I set up dies for zero headspace. I am using 90grs retumbo with 210 bergers and getting 2960 fps. this load shoots half minute out to 1000yds if I do my part. took to Africa and got 6 large animals with 6 shots out to 400yds. got home and got my elk at 958yds.
