We are looking for 22 cal shooters to test our new bullet design. This new design is meant for shooters who use either the 75 gr or 80 gr bullets,from any maker). The new design is for shooters who do not have the time or desire to tweak their loads to make the VLDs shoot. The goal of this test is to select which bullet shoots the best so that we can make it part of our line.
I need shooters with good equipment to test these bullets.
You must choose between the two options below:
1. For shooters who use 75 gr bullets we are testing two new weights
a. 22 cal 76 gr BT
b. 22 cal 78 gr BT
2. For shooters who use 80 gr bullets we are testing two new weights
c. 22 cal 80 gr BT
d. 22 cal 82 gr BT
All the bullets are made with the same design however the 76 gr and 78 gr are shorter requiring a 9†twist to stabilize. The 80 gr and 82 gr require an 8†twist to stabilize.
You must choose between either the 76 gr and 78 gr OR the 80 gr and 82 gr. No one will be selected to test all four bullets. Each tester selected will be sent 1 box,100 bullets) of each weight. To be selected for this test you must be able to provide your results on or before July 23rd. The deadline for applications is June 28th,Thursday).
I know that many shooters are preparing for Camp Perry however with the overwhelming response we received for the 6mm heavy non-VLD testing I am confident that there are enough 22 cal shooters to conduct this test. If conducting this test will conflict with your Camp Perry preparations then please do not apply to be a tester.
