Berger 130s & Varget in 6.5x47L

Finally Berger 130 VLDs are available in Australia, well almost, still a couple of weeks away. RL17 is still approx a 12 month wait for distribution to downunder, so that leaves my old favorite Varget for my initial trial load.

Can anyone using this combination please post some suggested loads and give some detail on accuracy and velocity. It will be used in my bolt gun, Barnard action and 1:8 twist, 30" Krieger barrel. All info will be very much appreciated!

my rifle has a 28 inch 8.5 twist Bartlein

37.7 grs Varget Fed 205M primer 2950 avg velocity very good accuracy this load is on the top end in my rifle might want to start a little lower

Thanks for that, when I get the bullets it gives me a great starting point for reloading.
