Did he provide any detail on what he preferred about the Bergara?Had a Local NRL PRS shooter selling both his Rim X and VooDo in favor of his Bergara. He is very top shooter in the area so that kinda means something to me.
The way my Bergara and Tikka shoot, I can't justify the cost of a Vudoo or others. I am a custom guy myself, I have 2 1000yds bench guns and love them. I have won matches shooting against Vudoo and Rimx. with the Tikka and Bergara. With long range rimfire it is all about the ammo and knowing how to shoot in the wind. The Preciseness of the Rifle was on Par or better than other other two that he owns. One of them ( cant remember which one he said) he had to clean the barrel half way through a weekend to keep it shooting good enough to win with. The Bergara he does not have to do that and it shoots as good or better on a long weekend of shooting. Plus it seemed to shoot some of the cheaper ammo very well.
I was kinda taken aback actually being a Custom Rifle lover myself.
It happens some times, I had a stupid Remington Sendero i got for cheap that would just make me mad because it would out shoot all my dam custom guns i had. Some times a guy gets a good one.
He just texted, it’s listed in Brownells,… R HVR 700. adjustable from 1.5 - 8 oz.That, I don’t know. I’ll ask him and post the answer.
ThreadedBergara actions threaded or press fit for the barrel . Thanks
I have a Bergara and a Vudoo, and the Vudoo is definitely more accurate but not by much. The way my Bergara and Tikka shoot, I can't justify the cost of a Vudoo or others. The Bergara is probably accurate "enough" for his needs, especially if it is more of the Indian than the arrow.Had a Local NRL PRS shooter selling both his Rim X and VooDo in favor of his Bergara. He is very top shooter in the area so that kinda means something to me.
Did you fill out the form for your rifle and send it into ARA and was denied?I have the carbon fiber barrel, very accurate with a good lot of Lapua, cant use it in ARA Factory class tho, may let it go and get a 457 Precision Trainer for that class.
No I didnt, was told by match director that the Begara is not legal for factory class, so I am just going to sell it.Did you fill out the form for your rifle and send it into ARA and was denied?
