Bergara B14R 100 yard group

Just finished building second Bergara B14R with custom Shilen barrel , jewel trigger . After watching a few of Kenny’s youtube videos from eagle Eye precision . Wind died a little so I went after work today and shot a few groups at 50yards , then tried a group with SK Long range match ammo .

My bud has a B14 that I've been helping him mount a scope on and such. It's in 6.5 creed, and what shooting we've done with it has been factory ammo. Our results are similar to yours.

I'm kinda impressed with the overall rifle, and see nuthin wrong with it as a package. They don't cost a fortune, but it looks like they might be a cut above most "off the rack" rifles. jd

I just trued one up tonite. Very straight but horribly designed tenon threads. More like their designer worked on large valves or the oil and gas industry with that coarse of a pitch

Thx! I enjoy building and shooting 22LR , thinking about trying go to some kind of competition just not sure what the different classes they have that I can shoot in . Plus not sure if there is anything close enough ! Thx! Mark

Yes ! and Metric on top of that !!!!! Takes me twice as long to cut on my South Bend Heavy 10 lathe LOL!!

That's a bummer. I guess I assumed that it was same/clone as a 700.
That kind of takes it out of the wish list for me. jd

Treat it like a 40x 22 and put a bushing in there for a normal small shank barrel. This one is for a .750-18 but doesnt have the wrench flats on it yet

I am confused. Is the picture of a group fired at 50 yds. Or 100 yds.?

I just picked up a carbon B14 barreled action and Shilen ratchet barrel. I plan on re-cutting the tenon threads in the receiver to 1.120-20 threads. I will post how it goes.
