bent firing pin

Looking at purchasing a used Borden BRM. Was inspecting it upon receipt and felt the pin drag slightly so I took it apart to find the nose is deformed. See the attached picture and this short video showing what it looks like.
In the video, it looks way more obvious that the tapered portion of the pin is also slightly bent, so it's not just the tip.

It is bad enough that the pin sticks in the bolt body if it is turned other than the 1 way it slides. To clarify, If I take the bare firing pin and slide it in the bolt body, only in a certain orientation will it protrude the end. While it is in there in the "fired" position, if I grab it and try and spin it 90deg, it jams itself in the body. I brought this to the sellers attention and he says that they start to do that in around 500 rounds. Seems highly unlikely to me, I've never heard of someone needing to change their firing pin once or twice per barrel...

The pin hole in the bolt face doesn't look too worn or deformed, but I have no way of really looking in the tapered "guide" portion in the body, I can only see as far as my borescope will fit. I can't tell if it is wearing inside anywhere.

Sorry, vid is public now. I know I can just replace it, the bigger thing is how can I tell if there is any more damage anywhere, what would cause this in the first place and how to fix that, and if this is something the seller should be paying to replace. I'm in Canada and getting parts from the US can be next to impossible sometimes

Thanks for the replys, I got another pin ordered today. It sounds like parts under $100 aren't subject to all the crazy export paperwork, fees and wait times. For an idea, a new BRM would be 2900 by the time it's in my hands plus an added few months added on the lead time just sitting at the exporter.

Was this a USED action? If so and it wasn't disclosed at time of sale I would expect the seller to anti up for a new pin.
Now if you have fired the action, this may be difficult
Yeah it's a used rifle which I why I requested an inspection and possible return period. I have dry fired it, no live rounds. Either way, it's not about the relatively cheap pin, just the principle of it, I guess.
I just made a new firing pin for an old Shilen DGA for a friend. His old one had been dropped, and someone had tried to straighten it with no success.

I would be someone had yours out of the bolt and dropped it.
Thanks Jackie, you're likely right, I've never seen a pin like that before and couldn't imagine it being an issue with the action. Also, I'm curious what material you use for new pin, I have an old savage you can't get parts for anymore and would like to make one.
Hahaha! No way!
I know I know, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and just thought I'd ask first.

If the hole in the bolt face is round and centered, why would the pin bind upon removal at some rotation angle other than the entry angle?

I usually get a long 1/2 inch grade eight bolt.
But the last one I machined was from 1145. That is what Bat uses.
