It hard to believe this is possible while doing what I love to do.
What I'm most thankful for is the Hundreds of great people I've met and the friendships that have blossomed all over the country all the while enjoying sharing experiences and memories.

Don: I believe that until I earned my third jacket, you and I were the only two shooters in the country that had earned two Hall Of Fame jackets. I believe there are a few shooters getting real close to earning their second HOF jackets this season or next.

Originally dubbed the Prince, now without question the KING!!!
Wonder who first referred to him as "KING RICHARD"?? (I think I was).
I think it was the year he won the NBRSA nationals and IBS nationals
within a couple of weeks of each other that he graduated from Prince to KING.
Congrats to the greatest ambassador to the shooting sports and the symbol of excellence!
And the nicest guy you will ever meet.

I do not know Mr Schatz as we live in different parts of the country. But in the 25 years I have been in the benchrest game I have come to learn of and admire his accomplishments. Anytime I have been able to find wisdom that he has reveled I avidly read and reread it. One thing that has stood out to me is that he is a gentleman that enjoys his craft for the challenges it provides, not for personal recognition. The recognition does come though from his results, brought forth by hard work and dedication. Congratulations to a terrific ambassador of our sport.
