I have a composite benchrest stock that I inherited and do not have a use for. I would like to get rid of it but am not sure if there is much value in it anymore. Looking for some help from you guys to determine if I could sell this stock or if it just needs to be scrapped. If I could sell it, who might the manufacturer be and what would be a fair price to put on it?
Here are the specs:
Action: It originally had a Time Precision rimfire benchrest action pillar mounted in the stock.
forend: 3" wide. As seen in pics, there is some material removed from the bottom of forend. I presume is was for some sort of bag tracking device or a stock mounted tuner similar to what is seen on a 40X rimfire.
I spoke with Alex Sitman and he said a stock could be filled in with epoxy and re-inletted without any problems. This would allow a stock to be recycled and used for a different action.
Thanks in advance for your input.
