Kevin and Janet Rayhill are out of Chadren Nebr and they do very good work and the price is right. I have one of their stocks that I put on a savage modle 12 in .223 and have since traded that gun to my grandson .Very good work and very freindly people.
Also sharpshooter supply out of ohio operated by Fred Morio and his wife will set you up with a stock that will drop right on your savage. I have one on a savage target action as well as a macMillan edge and both of those actions track very well. I dont shoot benchrest but i shoot prarie dogs all of the time and if its not a savage target action I dont want it.Timney makes a dropin triger for savage and I have on on all my guns as well as having changed the bolthead out with one from pacific tool and gauge for the savage bolt.
