What is a Savage 12 with a aftermarket trigger, factory HS stock and no scope worth? The previous owner passed away and round count is unknown, so let's assume it needs a new barrel. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I agree with Kracken. I own one of these. Round count was very low on a newly installed barrel. I paid $900

I'm not sure, it's the right bolt left eject single shot with HS stock and 26" fluted barrel.

Probably an Lrpv, I’ve had a ton of them. Great guns, I use to find deals on them for $600, but they have definitely went up in price. Unfortunately I’m a lefty and the do not work for me or I’d have a bunch of them

According to what I’ve seen in the classifieds the last few months, the action is selling for around 500 and the HS stock(LRPV) is selling for 200-250.
With a good cleaning of the barrel and a borescope you might be able to tell the condition of it. Probably still has some life left in it and could make for a decent varmint barrel? Value of that will vary depending on that condition. Maybe $100-150 if still some life left in it? More if the borescope shows little use and no firecracking.
So I think the $800 mentioned above is a fair value.

If you don't want the savage 12 let me know the contract info I'd be a player on it for sure on the other hand you can't go wrong buying the rifle they shoot very good out to 1000 yds but my is a 308 cal.

That sounds like my Model 12 LRPV. Very heavy gun, solid. Mine’s in .223 , very accurate rifle.
