Benchrest stock for Kidd Supergrade barreled action??

What are my options for a benchrest stock, 3” forend, for the Kidd Supergrade barreled action?

I’m wantin a super accurate semiauto bench gun.

jepp2,

Very cool stock.

I want to shoot off a 3” front rest, I’m used to that with my CF bench guns.

He just got done building this one for me. He is building another one for me now with a full kidd supergrade action. I have a 20" supergrade barrel on it but he is going to make a 24" Douglas to go in the supergrade action. It's also going to have a stock that looks identical to the one I posted.

You can get that stock in just about any color combination that you would want. Joe will have some in stock but if you want a different color just tell him what you want and he can get it. The two that I got I had made special.20190201_220404.jpg

1911, you owe it to yourself to contact Joe Chacon. Not only is he as fine a guy as you will ever meet, but his benchrest stock is compatible with the one-piece rests. Seymour

Tell him Mark Dorey told you about him.
He also can make you a whole rifle for a great price for what you will get. A true Simi auto benchrest rifle! ABRA He created it and it stands for Auto Benchrest Association. I hope to shoot some matches this year. I got my KIDD supergrade barrelled action before I found out about him. But I was looking for the same thing you were when I got my kidd. Glad I found him but wish it would of been before I got my kidd. Kidd makes a great rifle and the best trigger but it will not come close to a Joe Chacon rifle!

I think its $1985. But he ships you a receiver so you can get it registered in your name and then you send it back for him to do the work. So it's more like $2000 but when you get you rifle it will come in a black aluminum rifle case and have a cleaning kit for it with some barrel cleaner and lubricant. The rifle will have a Kidd two stage 3oz trigger for benchrest. A Shillings or Douglas barrel. He recommends 24 inches and he will put a tuner on and set it before he sends it to you. He also can get great prices on scopes, lupua ammo, and other stuff. He also makes a rear shooting rest that's pretty cool. Great guy just give him a call he does not mind talking about what he does and he has a great passion for what he does and it shows in his work! His wife Lisa is great to she does all the billing. If you have one built you will feel like you have made two new friends by the time you get you rifle!

Let me add that what I said about a kidd not coming close to a Joe Chacon rifle. I should of said that it will not come close for benchrest. They are two different rifles made for a different purpose. I shot my Kidd supergrade a lot before I sent it to Joe and it did shoot great. But it was not what I really wanted. I'm sure if Kidd made a true 10-22 benchrest rifle it would be a great rifle also but I don't think Kidd could give you what Joe is for the same price. It would probably be at least $500 more than Joe's rifle.

there is a guy on rimfire central that makes 3" stocks. i have one for my 10/22 and he's really affordable. they just need a tiny bit of finish work and bedding to be done. his name is lbjennings on the forum
