there is a guy on rimfire central that makes 3" stocks. i have one for my 10/22 and he's really affordable. they just need a tiny bit of finish work and bedding to be done. his name is lbjennings on the forum

Is Mr Chacon still building?

Joe is still building. You might have an extended wait at this time. He is/was having some supply chain difficulty. I would expect 8-12 weeks or more for delivery of a completed rifle. I believe that most of his stocks are made by Tony Mele. Really well done. I have a Chacon UL custom and it performs quite well in ABRA competition. The waiting will kill you, but worth every second in the end.
