benchmark barrels

Just curious about them, hard to find info on. I have heard good things but what are others opinions?

I have one that I shot through its full life and then retired to fire forming duty, chambered in 6PPC for my Benchrest rifle. It is a good shooting barrel that I have been happy with, cleaning easy, and requiring little break in. They have made a considerable reputation in .22RF, fitting their match barrels.

Benchmark makes outstanding barrels! Ron & Jerry are a pleasure to deal with.They do a great job of contouring and polishing them. They require very little breakin and there prices are reasonable. If you get one you wont be sorry.

Thank's, Hard to find info on, the gunsmith I chose likes them but it is only one persons opinion. I've got one on the way, if I like it I willl get more. They were less $$$ than the others, I just hope they shoot as well

Ron tells me they now offer two-groove, three-groove, and six-groove 22LR barrels. Ron personally favors the six-groove "because we have a really outstanding chamber reamer for that configuration."
