Tikka rifles

I have heard nothing but good things about the Tikka rifles for there out of bok accuracy. I would like other opinions on these and how are they to rebarrel and what can some one expect from them in the event of re barreling down the road and what draw backs if any compared to a rem 700?
Thank You RW

Hi RW,
I have a Tikka M595 in .243. Rebarrelling isn't a problem. They use a metric thread but if your gunsmith knows what they are doing it wont be an issue.

I really like my Tikka. Accuracy is very good and I can get .5 moa 3 shot groups from it. The only drawback with the Tikka is that there are little or no aftermarket parts available for it when you compare it to the Remington 700.

Regards
Moo.
