bench techniques

hey guys,

I have just started shooting 600 yard benchrest here in australia, but there are few shooters who shoot bench where I live. I was just wondering what sort of bench techniques work for you guys.

Lynn advice is good. Over the years you will modify your shooting technique and have a curtain way of doing things. I like my gun at the back end of table and on the left side of table. The only thing I touch is the trigger. I also set behind the gun. Not too many people shoot this way, but it works for me. One thing that people look a me strangely is after I have gun setup and everything is how I want it, I do not look down the scope, but just look at flags and when it right I pull trigger and then reset every thing.
