Bench Ubrellas

Hey guys, looking for a clamp on Umbrella to attach to bench.
Will be shooting (1,000 yds.) bench rest on temporary (portable) benches and need a clamp on type umbrella that will attach to a 2 inch top.

Where can I find one?

You don't want anything shaking your bench in the wind. Try a free standing pop up canopy.

Lot's of these around. No need to look any further than Wal Mart. This link will show you a clamp on as well as a couple of free standing ones.

We use a pipe clamp with a Golf umbrella taped to it with electricians tape.

I started out clamping the beach umbrella post to a table leg with a big hose clamp and a second clamp fastened to the table top, but like Mike said the slightest breeze would shake the bench. I then got a freestanding base, but even the heaviest one I could find didn't keep it from blowing over when that Wyoming wind kicks up. I wound up using a piece of baling twine I found on the prairie and lashing the umbrella to a door handle on the caravan. Then I got smart. I don't take the umbrella any more. I just leave the hatch on the caravan open and put the bench under it.

Perhaps a small easy up canopee that you could stake to the ground would work?
