Bedding Job Done! Best way to remove excess MarineTex?

I cut dozens & dozens of small half inch squares of thin card and just keep running them over the small gap between the stock and action as the goo oozes out. Keeping them parallel to the top stock surface. Just do a bit at a time and have a bin handy. I probably end up going over all the areas 3 or 4 times until I'm happy it's flush with the stock and no more goo is going to come out. That's with masking tape on the top surfaces of the stock, so there is a small edge just to file off when the action is out. Probably file off is the wrong phrase, it's more just dragging the edge of the file over the small lip that is left.

Ya, I just use q-tips, toothpicks and the blue stick. On the blue stick I grind a radius on the end that leaves me a high edge with a radius against the action so I can sand it down flush with the show line. Depending on stock materials I will use wd-40 with the q-tip.

I was referring to after you have bedded the rifle and pulled the action. When you start you’re finish work, sanding and milling out the trigger group area, ports, etc…. What do you like to use to wipe the bedding off, I have been using a little air and a soft Terry cloth, seems to work, just curious what others might be doing.

Probably seems ridiculous I know but I like to have a good presentation along with stress free.

Just compressed air to blow off the shavings and a clean cloth, not really given it much thought to be honest, anything that doesn't scratch the new surface

If you cant wipe it down with anything or touch it that doesnt say much for your choice of bedding material. Wipe it with acetone, oil to make it shiny, whatever you want.

I never said you couldn’t…. I do, I just make it limited after pulling the barreled action. Marine Tex is what I use.
