Bedding a savage 12 centerfeed

Does anyone have any experience bedding a Savage 12 center feed? They have this little tab that attaches to the magazine box, then extends to the top of the rear pillar. The idea bedding the magazine maintains the proper height with the action for reliable feeding...

I'm bedding a new Manners stock, and Im puzzled how to properly bed around this tab without glueing it into place.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Two ways to do it. Put plenty of release agent on it then bed as normal, when done pop it out and it should leave an impression to fit in.
Or leave it out completely bed as normal then bed the mag in place with a little epoxy putty at the bottom corners of the mag, using release so you can remove it.
