Bedding CZ550 American question

I have spent hours pouring over the numerous posts and I am thankful for all of the knowledge and advice out there. As a newbie this information has helped considerably as I start this bedding project. I recently acquired a new CZ 550 American chambered in .22-250 with walnut stock as I couldn't resist the deal. My problem stems from dealing with a detachable magazine leaving little to bed? The tang is also finished with the 'jagged edge' surface. Does this need to be milled prior to bedding that area, or will a solid pillar job at tang screw with no bedding be the way to go? Any thoughts or theories are greatly appreciated!
