Beating a dead horse? 6br question

Hello everyone and I'm sorry if this is beating a dead horse. I have read and reread post after post and looked at chamber drawings till I am blue in the face. But nothing is giving me the straight answer.
I am wanting to build a 6br on a Remington 700 in a old BDL stock. Make it a short suppressed varmint rifle. I have the opportunity to buy over 200 factory Remington 6br shells and I want someone to tell me, will a 6br norma chamber except these factory loaded rounds? I like the thought of shooting the factory shells but I know I will also buy brass, probably alpha down the road. Also will not want to turn necks.I don't plan on using the long vld 105's, I have a dasher for that. I ordered a 1:10 shilen barrel and plan on shooting the 68 to 90 gr pills.
Measuring the factory loaded rounds( I bought one box for the ammo collection) oal of the brass is averaging 1.557

I appreciate any input.
Thanks, Keith

This ^^^^^ What rwj said. If you look at a lot of dies I believe some say 6BR and some say 6 BR Norma. Not sure completely but would have to look at my die sets. If you look at the bulletin page on left side there is a complete section about several cartridges and loading data for them. Here’s a couple references

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6mm_BR
The 6BR is why we have this great forum.

955 grain seated into lands square m

I want to know when during this past century did Remington produce factory 6br ammo? It's right there looking me in the face. Couldn't believe it. That's some neat antique something right there. Don't have the right words to say that s pretty awesome!

You should have no problem using that ammo. But I would squirrel that factory stuff away and watch the value increase.

I would also suggest loading your own as you can increase everything from accuracy to velocity over using that soon to be collectible ammo.

1 think your 1-10 is perfect for a Varmint rig. If you were sticking to 60 to 75 grain bullets the 1- 12 would be my choice. But 68 to 80 grain is where I think the BR is at its best in the varmint fields.

GOOD LUCK!

6 BR Remington brass does not last as long as Lapua. and it is softer. I still have some Remington brass. Got to anneal !
I anneal after every firing. I'm not worried about the brass life but the consistency. Still getting beaten by guys that don't anneal but my time is coming!
