Many thanks for all of the hard work and dedication to all of the shoot organizational master minds of the event... Mr Donald Diffy I know put in many hours organizing, gathering troops and working on and behind the scenes to make this shoot happen. Also a huge shout out to Mother Glenn for many of the squadding and final results etc.

Also to the huge team of worker bees that helped run the lines, pits, tents, parking, shuttles, water duty, etc, etc, etc...THANK YOU to each and everyone of you! Very nice shoot!

And thank you to all of the sponsors of who contributed to the Prize table: Kelbly, Nightforce, Lapua, B3 Precision, Alonzo Custom Rifles, Shilen, Broughton Barrels and a number of others!

Already looking forward to the 3rd LR Southern Regional..!!

In Sling: Mr Kenny Porter held and added to his lead to capture the Title! And in Amazing fashion..!!! Only dropped 3 points from 100 shots! Amazing to me shooting sling (no rest, bipod, etc! And open sights..!!). It's a treat to watch what Kenny does at each of the monthly matches.

From the Open Class: Mr Perfect Mark Walker (Saturday 600) adds another brilliant day with 398. Only drops 2 points of 100 shots! Side Note: Mark also shot 599 last weekend. So in 160 shots over 2 weekends of shooting only to drop 3 points! Are you kidding me!? Just awesome shooting..!! Look out Mark..! We have a young lady junior who fired 1 point shy of HM scores... Congratulations to Claudette with some brilliant shooting!

From FTR we had a back and forth battle of amazing scores from a few shooters. Between Ray Weaver and Kelly Kennedy we had some flip flop of standings from Saturday. Kelly passed Ray firing a personal best of 199. Peter Johns stayed right with them and solidly in the mix. Last match had one more flip flop in the lead once more with Ray firing a ol brilliant 199 in some super shifty tail winds. PJ stayed solid ALL matches. He finished the entire match firing high master scores for the weekend...! Kelly was only 1 point shy of High Master scores. Ray captured the title and again fired another HM score for a complete tournament!

It was a fantastic competition, very well organized and great fun! Congratulations to all the winners and especially to Ray Weaver who won F/TR for the second year straight.

Oh yeah..! I bonked my head! We even just talked about his back to back. And in amazing fashion both years! and the best thing... Not only is Ray an amazing shooter and talent.. He in an awesome competitor and super gentleman!!
