Bat wait length

Ok, I hate waiting times. Anyone ever get their Bat action earlier than their quoted delivery? I am still early on in my wait, ordered/paid about a month and a half ago. I knew the wait going in, but still sucks. Driving me nuts.

You probably could have gotten faster at bruno's if they have the model you wanted in stock.

Depending on what they are running at the time you order I have gotten one in four months and I have waited seven months. Either way it is worth the wait.

Running time when I ordered was 6 1/2 months. Even if the ole lady doesn't get me anything for Christmas, I may still have a nice one from Bat. ;)

I ordered my Bat M on 9-1-2011 and received it in July of 2012. A long damn time - but worth the wait.

Lester didn't have a .590 Model M back in June when I ordered from Bat.

What is a ".590 Model M" ?

I gotta think you will have at least 5 to 6 months left on your wait time. I feel ya.....

First BAT, I ordered from Bruce, took almost 6 mos to the day. Got my last one from Russ Haydon, had it in a week... ;)

Oh, but its worth the wait.....

I ordered my first BAT this winter. I like the delay. It gives me much time to dig in the couch cushions for change and to pick up pennies on the ground at gas stations before it arrives! ;D

I was so pleased with my 1st BAT 3L that I got impatient and ordered the next one from Bruno - it's also a great action, but didn't have the integral recoil lug, nor ejector. I wound up paying BAT to exchange the bolt for one with an ejector, and now have it up & running with a Krieger #18 in 6 Dasher in a Shehane obeche MBR Tracker. Don't believe I'll ever have a bedding issue w/o the recoil lug with this small a cartridge, but if I do, guess I'll just have to set the bbl shoulder back, install a Holland's lug, then inlet & bed for it. Got three rifles built around the 3Ls, and one on a 3LL - love 'em!

I have had some bolt binding issues when shooting the 3L prone rifles in dusty enviroments (Raton & Ben Avery) when the wind blows - can anyone suggest a good bolt lube that doesn't attract dust? Anyone tried HBN?

I paid in full at time of order. That is why it is killing me I guess.

Scott,

It's been 6-7 months or so, things might be ready any day now. I need to start working the couch and the change jars too...

ps - ETA - worth every penny, worth the wait.
