Bat trigger guard and Bix trigger interference

Hi guys. I've got a Panda action in a Kelbly TMBR stock and the Bix trigger body is contacting the BAT trigger guard, preventing it from sitting all the way in the recess. Am I doing something wrong or does this combination normally require fitting?

The trigger is in a factory Kelbly (non adjustable) hanger and its installed correctly. The guard contacts the trigger in both orientations.
