BAT Torque Settings

Hi All
I have a Mod B, MB and M. What torque settings do you use on your BAT? I want to see if there is a common setting used between each of the different models.
I have also been told to not torque the trigger guard screw at all. I made a dummy hole on the trigger guard with a screw just into some Devcon. Anyone do the same?

This is what BAT has on their website:

  • Action screws that are ¼-28 can be torqued up to 70 in/lb. Recommend 50 in/lb.
  • Front trigger guard screw (10-32) can be torqued to 30 in/lb

Mine are all torqued to 70 in/lbs. I don't use the front trigger guard screw and prefer to use BAT single hole trigger guards.

Good Shooting.

Rich
