Bat Neuvo and Bat DS differences?

Heavy bolt lift and didn't shoot any better than a DS. My first DS was serial #13.

All actions are just a kit, a sage shooter once told me. You have to finish them.
Dave, Charles Huckeba once told me that if an action was born bad, just cut you losses and get rid of it.

When Charles had his first Scoville Stock built way back when, he sent an old Panda to Bob to have it glued in.

Bob called him and asked Charles if he was sure he wanted to use that old action, and not a new one.

Charles told him that action was a World Champion. He knew it was good.

By the way, congratulations on your Nationals.
I still think about you at Phoenix several years ago with that darn Rail Gun. That thing was phenomenal.

Thanks Jackie. That was my once in a lifetime Hummer barrel. Died at 1,800 rounds.

I had 1 neuvo and 2 3 lug bats. One SS and 1 chrome moly if I recall correctly. No matter how good I kept my brass sized, I never did like the bolt lift.

I'll stick with my 2005 and 2006 DS BATs. To each their own.

Dave I have 5 Bat 3 lug rifles and only one is melonited and the bolt lift on the other 4 three lug actions are so different. They are much stiffer. I'm not a picker I'm a runner the way I shoot score so I know a smooth action when I use one.

MOST important, if and when you run into Daryle at a match, make sure you pronounce it "new-a-voh"......
