Base cavity on HPBT palma projectiles

Hi, I am currently researching on the effects on accuracy of having a cavity on the face of the base of the projectile.
What are your thoughts and mostly, what is your experience with this concept?

I'm not Brian but I'd have to ask why a cavity?

Adds complexity to swaging die, loss of mass at rear moves center of mass forward... both negatives IMHO, albeit perhaps minor ones.

There's got to be good reasons behind no one making a hollow-base boat tail bullet design....
