Two BATS (drop port & dual port) Bart's 105 HAMMER invade the DOME.
Sunday evening after church I had lunch at Oldham's Mkt. and met up with Junebug. He had reloading equipment and Barts Custom Bullets. We have always shot Barts lightweight bullets but now we are beginning the experimentation with his new 6 mm heavies, 105 Gungnir and 105 HAMMER. Temps were in the 30's and damp with a mist of rain. Bug started out the Alex Wheeler BAT drop port 6mm BRAI with the Gungnir. He tried the Gungnir first and most every group had all five touching. Today he tried 4895 powder for the first time. We have always shot RL-15 or Norma 203-B, but following everyone else he wanted to try the 4895. Nearing darkness he decided to load four of the HAMMERS ( not sure why he chose four ), guessing at the jump, powder charge, etc. Well all I am saying is after 4 shots he said I have my load and he loaded up and went home. The poster board target paper was wet and when we turned it over for a look from the back side, it was really an impressive 4 shot group.

The poster board target paper was wet from rain and when we flipped it over the back of the four shot group was very NICE

One of these groups was a fire forming to BRAI group with 107 SMK's. The rest are the Gungnir except for the killer HAMMER group which he quit on after four shots, saying I found my load.

This is Bug's BAT Drop Port with 8 twist BRAI. Bug has so many rifles he was not sure what model it was. He thought maybe a model B.

You can also pick up the Valdada Terminator 12 - 52 X 56 "40mm" tube, yes I did say 40 mm tube. This thing is the new BOSS in town. So bright on these dreary, dark, rainy days. Pick up your Terminator while they are still in stock before everyone finds out about them. BART is going to campaign a coulple of them this year, one on his world record 600 yard small group rifle. They are available now. Danny Huffines and myself have one. I put my 8 - 80 x 56 March on the table side by side with the Valada. It was a dark and rainy day. All three of the guys there said the Valdada had more brightness, and more resolution, sort of like watching another leverl of HD (high definition).
Here is my Valdada Terminator on my BAT SB Dual Port

Floating Dot reticle with 25 moa elevation in the mil-lines plus 100 moa in the turret.
It was very dark, foggy today as you can see in the pic, but look how bright the 800 yard plates are.
