After working 5 days straight of 16 hours per day restoring Nashville’s power outages from the snow storm, Junebug came to the DOME today to unwind. He brought over a glued and screwed Bat drop port 6 BRAI smithed by Alex Wheeler. It was loaded with BART’s 105 Hammers.
We shot three groups at 800 yds. Bart Sauter should be all smiles. Bug shot a 1.75 and 2.00 inch group and I chipped in with a 2.75 “ perfect waterline group.

Why is the scope mounted so high on the 6.5?
The Viper came with a Davidson / Kelbly type rail. I switch scopes from rifle to rifle. So I put a Picatinney adapter rail on top of the Davidson rail to keep all my rifles fitted with the same standard Picatinney rail. I like scopes mounted high so I don't have to tilt my neck over so far. Helps on extended shooting sessions.
