After many years of Eubers in my 7000 round 30 br barrel they are about gone, maybe 100 left. Time for a change. So I bought a 1000 112s from Bart, and why make it easy, I am also trying to switching to LT30. The other day I load 3 each of 35.1, 35.4, and 35.7. I seated them with my die set as normal for the Eubers. When I went to the range the wind was intense. So I just sat down and shot the best I could the 3 three shot groups 35.7 was best but all 3 groups were terrible around .5. I did some measuring and figured out I was jumping about .60. I reset my die so I could see a mark, not quite square on the bullet and loaded to that mark. Using my normal 2 shot method I set up my normal 3 flags today and went at it. All groups measured after I came home. First 2 shots .043, quickly shot 2 mor and had the I'd flag reverse on my last shot and opened it up to .088. I seated the next pair .002 deeper, they shot .036. I quickly seated 2 more the same, they shot .045. That's is it, I am done until next week when I will shoot a 100 yd UBR target match of 24 shots for record. Just what I expected with these bullets but I was not sure about the powder. Now before I hear 5 shot groups, I could care less. If I am competitive at the match I will waste no more rounds shooting pretty groups. Thanks to the guys who have put out info on results with LT30, I read most of the info in the search function, it was a great help. Bart, thanks for good bullets.
