Is LT30 more temperature sensitive than some of the other powders

Not to long ago, I was seeing posts that indicated LT30 seemed to shoot Ok in warm climates, but didn't seem as consistent in cooler areas.
Now that people seem to have the LT30 shooting well durring the summer months, how does it seem to do now that cooler/colder weather is around?

I was working on my LT30 load development when it was warm, but stopped when it turned cold. Now that H4198 is showing up, would it be more consistent or recommended.
The competition scores I was seeing for the 30BR's all seemed pretty close using the N130, H4198 or the LT30, but those were scores shot in the hotter months.
Yes, I am the novice.

Quit reading and thinking. Shoot the gun, IT will tell you the truth. Some times a big temp change from your tune will require an adjustment, not a big deal. Learn it and adjust as needed. Target tells all.
Isn't it considerably more difficult to work up a load for a new gun and cartridge combination when large temperature swings takes place daily, like now. I'm just curious if I'm spinning my wheels trying to do it with LT30 right now. In a month and half, it'll be 35 degrees warmer all the time.

One day it's 45 and a couple days later it's to be near 80.

You answered your own question. In a month and a half do your load workups since it concerns you. OR you can go shoot and find out how your rifle and powder lot react to the temp swings. I like to know before matches instead of while shooting a match. I shot LT-30 in my vartarg one season and found it sensitive but I was right on the ragged edge so I expected it. I've since changed powders and backed the load down a bit.

Actually if yoUr getting big temp swings day to day you have a perfect testing environment. Keep good records, all information written on each target will show you day to day, load to load results. Another approach could be if yoUr competitive shooting window lies in warmer or colder conditions wait for that time before your tuning. But, it sounds like you currently have a great environment to test what really happened, or doesn't, with temp swings. Don'gt depend on what the adverstising says to make your decisions. I trust your doing all load development over flags.

I choose n 130 over lt30 due to some flyers i was having. A really good shooter suggested it.
Some are doing really well with LT30 and the temps in the morning are different than evening.
Tuner adjustment is a key in the swings i think.

I am shooting over flags.

Because I have not shot competitively for many, many years and this is a new cartridge and barrel, I don't think I'm ready to experiment. When I have a base to compare with, then I can experiment.
I understand there will usually be temperature changes to a degree, but if the LT30 I'm using is more temperature sensitive than other powders, it doesn't do much good to work up loads at 50 degrees, when I'm trying to find a load for 95 degrees. This would be especially true if LT30 just really doesn't work well at 50 degrees.

At this point, I've narrowed down a powder charge and working on seating depth in hot weather. I was hoping to get others experience on how much change I should expect in colder temperature.
I'm thinking that right now with the larger temperature change taking place that it might be like working on load development and shooting in a strong wind without flags.

Being new to this doesn't help.
