BARTS 112 grain. 30s......

.......did the trick yesterday. Thanks for good bullets Bart. After many years of using Eubers I have found an excellent replacement. It's no longer a concern. My 7000 round + Broughton likes them. Twitchy conditions yesterday, I just waited for the lesser wind velocity and held on the dots.....and they went away.

Bart's 112 gr. bullet is a winner no doubt. Both of my 30BRs love them. My 1 - 17 Tw. BR rifle will shoot them a little tighter but the 1 - 15 Tw. hunter will shoot them well too.

When I retired the second time my wife said why don't you get set up and we will make bullets. My answer and it remains my answer....." Your crazy ". I shoot about 100 rounds a day from one of my pellets guns. Cost....3.00, no cleaning, no reloading. Now from the match yesterday I have 37 cases to anneal, clean, size, trim, prep, and reload. Plus I have to clean the gun and be ready for this Saturday and load for the 6ppc that I will also shoot Saturday. I do not have time nor inclination to make bullets. More power to those that do.

If my wife wanted to do anything "shooting" related with me I'd jump at it! LOL she wants me to knit and crochet or some other thing I've helped her with on the embroidery machine (looks pretty just not my style!).

I just bought my wife a new embroidery machine. I stay away for those items. I would end up with my trigger finger sewed to my thumb, lol. I bought quite a few cars in my younger days that cost less. But I have a good wife. Always tells me I need a new gun.

I know what you mean! A 6 needle and a 10 needle, more material than you can shake a stick (or gun) at! AND she emborders for the golf course and the neighborhood. We were talking about insurance the other day and when she told me how much WE have invested in them, well I may buy a new gun............ or 2!

I would have to agree that the 112 Xouts shoot pretty good. Here’s a test I ran with them 2 years ago at 300 yards. I shot the 3 shot group first and then verified it with a 4 shot group that went even smaller.

I just might have to get it back out and test it again.

Us old guys need big holes to see. You youngsters are restricted to skinny bullets, lol.
