I believe Bart gave up bicycle riding about 20 years ago. The event that caused this was at the Shamrock shoot in Georgia. Ask him about it some time.

Sitting around at the Super Shoot many years ago listening to Bart and Billy telling stories and I mentioned to Brady Knights wife, can you imagine these 2 guys flying around in choppers with rockets and mini guns on them?

As most competitors know there is no substitute for preparation. Bart Sauter has had some great success lately in that he won the 3-gun at the Nationals and the Tack driver 300 meter shoot with the 6 PPC. I put my PPC barrel on the yard sale rifle named the Mutt and loaded some of Bart's 68 gr. BT Avengers. The good bullets produced by Bart are part of his "secret" to success. Here is a picture of the Mutt and a 3-shot group shot with it.

The bottom line is that Bart is just a gifted shooter. I can name a few who are gifted shooters. Allie Euber, Tony and Faye Boyer, Wayne Campbell. Jeff Peinhardt and Dean Breeden are a few NATURALLY GIFTED shooters.

I can remember one super shoot when Bart was complaining about the spotting scopes being too hi. Especially Billy's. They were too hi for me too
