Bart Sauter's Secret

As most competitors know there is no substitute for preparation. Bart Sauter has had some great success lately in that he won the 3-gun at the Nationals and the Tack driver 300 meter shoot with the 6 PPC. I put my PPC barrel on the yard sale rifle named the Mutt and loaded some of Bart's 68 gr. BT Avengers. The good bullets produced by Bart are part of his "secret" to success. Here is a picture of the Mutt and a 3-shot group shot with it.

Why only 3?......LOL

Bart makes outstanding bullets and I am truly impressed by his ability to produce relatively large amounts while maintaining top level quality. I am planning to purchase a couple thousand of Bart's GUNGNIR 105 for Mid Range F-Class in my 6 BR.
But, barrels and cartridges make a difference, too. This is a seating depth test I did 28 October at 100 yards with my .300 WSM. These are Berger 230 Hybrids at 2850 fps. The number in the square is CBTO. .300 WSM is no slouch in agging. 2022-10-28_target-1.jpg

Thank you for the post James. I’ve had an amazing year. The ultimate goal was to make the team for the World Benchrest Championships. Winning the Nationals and the Tac Driver were nice surprises. Alex is right. The harder you work, the more good things happen.

Bart
maybe my "work smarter not harder motto" is why Im not doing so well lol.....
and congrats to you Bart

Just a week ago! Right out of case. 200 yd 10 sh gr with 12tw BR. and 5 minutes later 400 yard gr
with Dasher and 105 Gungnir bullet. slight head/crosswind. Consistency and very accurate. Thanks Bart! You the man! The Dominator and Gungnir are bad to the bone!

Nice work. TO BAD THE BRASS MANUFACTURERS DON’T APPRECIATE THE 300WSM!
