pacnor barrels, has made me a lifelong customer .

they have proven themselves as very customer service oriented.

i ordered a barrel from them (3 actually ) it showed up 2 weeks faster than they quoted me. only problem was it was 4" shorter than what i ordered . i called them explained the situation they looked at the order saw the mistake and are making a new barrel at no cost to me. they also told me to keep the short barrel and apologized . i explained that i was not looking for hand outs and they were dead set that if i could use it i should keep it and use it .

i was not expecting the interaction i had with them . from this experience i will always give them the benefit of doubt from now on. thank you pac nor

by the way what should i build with a 28" 6mm 3 groove 12 twist medium varmint barrel?

I'm glad their customer service has gotten better. We used to order ALOT of Pac Nor's. About 3 years ago they made a mistake and sent a CM instead of SS 6.5 barrel to us. We told them politely we needed the right one asap as the customer wasn't happy. They put us at the back of the line like we had just ordered it and it took another 2+ months to get it. And they wanted the wrong barrel back, which they were entitled to. Never have ordered another one from them since.

Chris has always been one of the good guys...and I have been dealing with them from back in 1995.

I've heard good things from most people. My buddy had a 280AI put together by them. It wouldn't shoot for crap. 1.5MOA+. He sent it back and they said everything was fine...... He won't consider using them again. That doesn't mean I won't buy a barrel from them. They are supposed to make some of the best .17 and .20 caliber barrels.

Glad you where pleased. Bussinesses can change from time to time with employee turnover and what not. Also customer experience can change according to who is answering the phone. Sounds like you made out like a bandit. Hope to hear more Good things and this is exactly why forums like this are so beneficial to consumers. Good and bad experiences.
Thanks for sharing. I'll be keeping an eye on the equipment lists but don't expect them to overtake the market. Barrel manufacturing must be the most competitive sport there is. To our great benefit.
