Barrel wear vs 6x284

Ok waiting on a Brux 6mm 8" twist bbl Finished at 28" . Will I get more bbl life firing heavy 115 Dtacs then 95gr VLDs ? Or no difference at all ?

I love my 6x284s. I own three reamers, and one of them is a 6-284, BUT you are going to be past its most accurate life after 1,000 rounds no matter what bullet you shoot. I'd just go with whichever one shoots most accurately. The 95 will work out to around a 1,000 for live varmints, and the DTAC should add another 2 to 400 yards after that. If you're shooting competition, you have to go with the one that generates the smallest groups.
