Barrel takes longer to settle after quick clean VS full clean

I have found with a few of my barrels, that if I give it a quick patch out between stages, just to knock excess powder fouling out, that it throws a few wild shots for the next 8-9 shots,, a few good shots, then the group jumps up or down ) but after a full brush out, cleaning down to the metal, it settles down after 2-3 shots with no major verticles happening like with the quick clean. Has anyone else found this? Why do you think it is happening? I was thinking maybe it is loosening some fouling which blows out after a few shots. Either that, or the powder solvent strips the powder off the copper fouling, leaving the copper fouling open. What do you think?

I think you need to shoot Danzac or Boron Nitride to maintain accuracy between cleaning.
Not knowing what bore cleaner your using, it's anyone's guess what chemical residue is remaining in the bore after it interacts with carbon and copper.

I have been thinking the solvent could be something to do with it as well. I didnt seems to have quite as much problem when using Butches Bore shine, but it was still there a bit. The times I didnt have the problem was after a full on down to the steel clean. Then it had the usual 1st shot 1 moa down, 2nd shot .25 moa down, then bang on target.
