In order as I got there. Bart Barrel has near 1400 rounds.
6Mmbra. Bergers 105, varget. Bart action, Byers stock.
5 at a time. Total 11 pics.

Not new barrel.....not gonna be new looking.... Alot of scaring, lines of pits, rounded edges on lans. Several gouge looking marks.
Think "flea legs" when thinking of size of what you see.

What are you showing us?
Think flea leg small magnified ! Thought some would find it interesting.
I see erosion, pits, srcatches. Some weird gouging also. Lack of gator cracking but Lans smoothed out in throat.
The pics of the muzzle end shows what they look like undamaged ....
The pics tell the story didn't think I needed to add anything.

The pic’s are cool but what are you asking/showing it for?

How is accuracy?

What and how are you cleaning the barrel with?

Has the barrel/rifle sat for any period of time with out being cleaned?

What’s your load? Type of powder and bullet are you shooting? Moly coated bullets?

I think the barrel looks good for the rounds through it. No clue what caliber and components were involved. Little carbon that I see. Just shot a Dasher with more rounds through it and did a perfect score on last Saturday's 600 gong shoot. It would need an air chisel to chip the carbon out of the first 2" of bbl. Still shoots super.

If it shoots, shoot.

It's been a great barrel. I have another on order now. Shot several 1.7 groups at 600 & got 3rd in group at 1k back when I first started shooting.
I'm sure this one will shoot another 500 before it starts falling. I sure wasn't complaining at all.

Ppl have jumped to all sorts of conclusions. Key board professionals I guess.

The barrel does look good for so many rounds. Especially with me heating it up pretty good. My friends Krieger looks like an alligators back in 800 rounds.

I posted the pics because allot of ppl enjoyed seeing what it looks like in there.

Anyone that has seen their own barrel should know what they are seeing like you obviously do.
That tells me allot about several of them.
It's the internet ya know !

Bartlein Barrels best in the market !

Carbon fouling in a lyman bore scope is deceiving because it is a digital image. Look at the same image with a Hawkeye, which is a true optical instrument, things look very different.

IN a digital image, carbon can look like pits, gouges, and scrapes.

All is cool! I didn’t take it the wrong way or anything. I was just wondering if you had any questions or concerns so I could help you.
