Barrel on the way for 25/06.Need powder help

I got my barrel ordered for my 25/06.Need a little help for finding powders for 100gr-120gr soft-points BT and FB.Maby a few for 75gr V-Max,Sierra 75grHP,Nosler 85gr BT and all other bullets under 95grs.

Any of the 4350's will work great with the 100 grain bullets and under.
Use the 4831's for the heavy ones.
I prefer to use Hogdons powders...

RL-22 also works well with 100gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips.

I use reloder19 for the 85-87gr bullets and reloder 22 for the 100-115gr bullets. I also use cci250 primers with these powders.

Using Winchester brass, H4350, Federal 210 match primers and 100 grain bullets. Getting an easy-shooting 3340 fps from a 24" barrel, with good accuracy. I like the 100's for rockchucks, coyotes and even mule deer. Regards, Guy

I shoot 87,100 grain bullets in my 2506 ackley primarily. The best powder I have found so far is IMR-4350. It worked great on my last barrel,standard 2506) with 75 V-max, man are those explosive. Yeah it dosn't flow like h-4350 and I guess it isnt as temperature resistant as H-4350. But I know for some reason I get more velocity, and outstanding accuracy with IMR-4350. Tell us more about your new barrel Austin, like twist rate, length, is it sporter or heavy? I have a 3 groove 1-10 twist,my new barrel) it won't shoot the 75 grainers very good, like my old sendero barrel did. Too bad cause' I can push them 3900 fps.

Its a 1-10 shilen so it can do double duty.Its only guna be 24" at the time its finnished.I hope to get it in the 3000-3100fps range with 117gr sierra boat-tails.If accuracy and pressure hold up I will try to get it to 3150-3200.But only time will tell.
