Barrel Deresonator..............

Good morning all........... Of a big curiosity, is anyone using or has anyone used the new Barrel Deresonator from Sims Vibration Labs ??? Is this something new or a replacement of old technology ?? I understand why to use it, I just wonder if it really does produce as advertised. I read that it works best when it is slid up and down the barrel and the "sweet" spot is found ?? In photos, it's shown right at the end of the stock and appears to be encrouching on the scope's line of site ?? They appear to be fairly inexpensive to purchase. $14 - $17 depending on your parts house of choice. Any good OR bad input from anybody ???? Keep'm in the 10 ring !! :)?

Hi i have one and they do work as advertised i placed it on a bog stock model 7 SS in 7mm SAUM and the groups went from 1 12/" to 3/8" i had to try diferent places and found 1/2" from the muzzle the best close to the stock opened them up. this was at 100 yards they work like a tuner and also dull the vibrations in the barrel and sort of iron out the nodes. If you have a shot out barrel it wont help it but a good rifle that is a bit fussy give one a go what do you have to loose it is way cheeper than a bedding job and did the same mabe even better.

I had one on my Remington XR-100 target rifle placed close to the stock, I saw an increse in accuracy after putting it on. The rifle already shot extremly accurately and the barrel deresonator tightened up the groups even more. How it works is it decreses the time for the barrel to settle down and allows for more consistent shots. The two sweet spots are close to the stock and near the muzzle.
