Barrel choice

what is better for 6br a varmint weight barrel or
the heavy bull barrel,and why? Shooting 300
yard max for FV class.. :-\

If weight isn't a consideration then bull as it whips less. However since it is a 6 br I would get the varmint and cut it back to 24 inches or even 22 inches as it will be stiffer. You are only shooting 300 yards. However the factory puts their version of a bull barrel on that is 30 inches to eek out a little more velocity. The full bull barrel will probably weigh about 10 pounds.
