Barrel Block Question

I have a new to me heavy gun with an 8 bolt barrel block holding a 1.450 barrel. I was wanting to know what you torque the bolts to and if the torque of the block has been or is used in tuning the gun. The action is floated and the stock is aluminum........Thanks for your input

I torque mine to 55 inch pounds, you don’t want to see how low you can go, you don’t want the barrreled action flying back towards you.

Dave Tooley would probably be a good point of contact or Bill Shehane. - Both of these guys have built a good number of barrel block guns & would be able to also provide some insight. - I have no split block experience, all the ones I'm running are one piece glue-in blocks.
