Barnard vblock dimensions

Looking for the dimensions of the barnard v block for p receiver, they dont seem to list them on their website, anyone have sizing handy?

I have one sitting in a box somewhere, it's for a P-Chey though. What specific measurements are you looking for, maybe we can get something from it that might help you?

Im mocking up an aluminium stock in 3d, i have a block on order but was trying to sort some stuff before it arrived, basic length width height depth of v would do, but the p chey would be much bigger.
they are great at putting the dimensions of their receivers online, but strangely not the vblocks.

all else fails i just wait for it to turn up, just thought someone might have some numbers

Thanks

I have one waiting on a stock. It's
1.005 wide x 1.245 tall x 6.25 long.
It's bead blasted so was probably 1.00 wide originally.

I measured the P-Chey this morning. It actually stacks up to what dskogman had for measurements, minus the height (P-Chey being a bigger action). Got a few measurements that should help with the v.

I used the V-block but cut out a slot for a hand-milled recoil lug (hardened O1 tool steel tempered to 50Rc-ish) that screws into that slot in the bottom of the action with an M4 screw. The slot in the action is 8.1mm if I remember correctly. That way I can use all 3 of the 1/4-28 holes as action screws. After all of the machining was done, I bedded the block into the stock using Devcon, then skim-bedded the action into the block/stock using marine-tex. I think the thinner consistency of the marinetex works better for skim bedding because it leaves the fewest voids in my experience.

I have to say, making the recoil lug was a very cool experience. It combined some skills I haven't combined in years. There was rough machining, heat-treating, finish machining, mill-grinding, finish-lapping on a granite plate for super tight fitment, then cold-black/bluing to match the barnard p action.

Sorry if that's an over-share, but I thought the OP would be interested. I freakin' love gunsmithing.:D
