Barnard Update

I just got an email from a fellow shooter this morning in NZ. He is a gunsmith who helped get me some spare parts for my PL Action after I exhausted every dealer in 5 country's. He personally knows the family and the troubles they went through, Covid, illness, Web designer issues, the Government. Hopefully, the new owners breath new life into them. Attached is the email I got.

A sad update, Barnard Precision has gone under and no longer exists. The IP has apparently been brought by one of our F Class guys and setting up a new production line to continue making the World-Famous Barnard Actions once all of the legal hurdles are dealt with.

This is very ambivalent news. I don’t own a Barnard but the few I have handled are extremely well manufactured. Please keep us in the loop on any further updates.

I heard the owner had Health issues so I hope things are better for the family, and hopefully as you point out there is new life in the company.
